Economic Development. |
The Committee has expressed an interest in the Economic Development work of the Council and has requested two reports scheduled for the June 2022 meeting. One to examine the Team East Sussex Recovery Plan and another to explore how Economic Development Projects are selected and developed. Following this meeting the Committee may identify further scrutiny work in this area. |

Climate Emergency Action Plan |
The Council’s corporate Climate Emergency Action Plan was developed to cover the initial period 2020–2022. The Committee has been invited to form a working group to be involved in the development of an updated Action Plan to cover the next 2 year period. This is linked to the Committee’s previous work on the Scrutiny Review of Becoming a Carbon Neutral Council. |
